There are many changes that are taking place throughout our district. We have a few new faces around our campus, and a few familar people in difference places. 

You may be asking yourself, what does this have to do with health services? The services that we are providing in our clinic and throughout our district are also changing. For instance, this year we will be performing Spinal Screening on our 5^th Grade Girls in the Fall. This is the results of the new state guidelines. https://www.dshs.texas.gov/spinal/default.shtm

August 2004 I began serving as the school nurse for the Little Cypress Intermediate School, then in August 2014 I also became the Director of Health Services for the LCM school district. I am thoroughly enjoying both of these positions. We have a fantastic Health Service Team in our district and a supportive administration. This allows us to do many things in our district that you may not see in other schools.
