I began teaching at LCI in 2017 as an aide in Content Mastery. This is my second year here, and I am teaching fourth grade writing. 

I began teaching in 2003 at Bridge City ISD. I taught 4-6^th grade Art. 

From 2004-2007, I taught art at Huntington ISD Middle School. 

In 2017, my first novel was published by Simon and Schuster. 

I have been married since 2003, and I have two daughters that attend LCE and LCI. We have two dogs named Pepper and Toto, and a tortoise named Turquoise. 

I love to read, write, and paint! 

When I’m not teaching, I enjoy visiting the beach, and drinking Starbucks coffee :)
